ValueMags is responsible for distributing and marketing a variety of different magazines including some of the nation’s most popular like Star Magazine. ValueMags CEO, Andrew Degenholtz has never seen such and influx in magazine orders as he did when Sofia Vergara responded to Star Magazine’s headline from their May issue.
The editor passed a headline of the magazine that said that Sofia and her husband, Joe, were calling it quits after some divorce and affair rumours surfaced. Soon after it was published, Vergara put the rumours to rest by reaching out to social media and silencing the editor. She said that the editor has no real source of information to publish such an article and that it was fake news. As a result, many people wanted to read the issue and see what the article really said about them.
